Looks like Rico will get his first England cap but probably at left back in Trippier’s absence.

Haaland & Rodri reported as doubtful for Saturday - international break doing its job for football.......
(Keown described Trent Alexander-Arnold's latest England performance as 'magnificent' on TS this morning btw. It's beyond belief that anyone would pay him to talk -even the yanks must be wondering if he's an escapee from Planet of The Apes.)

They said Rodri was injured the other night so they weren't risking him. Then they said they weren't playing him as it was easy fixtures and they were through.
He played 86 minutes last night and got his usual yellow so he looks alright to me.

Kyle captaining England tonight apparently. His threat to go to Bayern has really paid off. Extracted an extension plus loads more playing time plus City Captaincy plus now Captaincy of England albeit for one fixture.

With that imbecile Dinosaur Dublin on co-commentary wittering on about POMO and Jules giggling away in the studio the coverage of our national team is plumbing ever new depths.

England performance poor so far. Alexander Arnold so poor, Maguire like a deer in headlights. So used to watching excellent possession play from City this football is shite
