Its over 50 years or more since professional football was a sport, calling it sport is nonsense in this day and age. It is a business and big business as well. Anyone should be allowed to invest in their business any way they see fit. Whether they sink or swim is up to them.

We were charged in June but the issues are much more complicated so you can’t just add on a few more months to come up with a decision by the Commission over the City case.

I notice a so called legal expert on Sky smugly assumed City will be found guilty and get a harsher penalty. The Sky presenter had to interject that we denied any wrong doing.

We were charged in Feb this year and it was the catalyst for our run that ended with the treble.
