Akanji should play there ahead of both those, Stones is needed in the middle.

Not writing us off, but we are different to last season.
I never liked gundo when he played at 6, but boy are we missing him at 8.
Kovacic and nunes are mediocre, haven't brought anything to the table. Sorry but one half decent champions league game against crap opposition doesn't cut it.
Mahrez & Gundo are undeniably both past their best now but agree in the latter's case his replacement(s) seem to be well off the level we need.

Gundo integral to us winning the treble. His goals in the Cup Final and we don’t win it. His goals towards the end of the season in the Prem and we don’t win it.

What in the world makes you think he was past his best?
Clearly his advancing age and his performances for Barca this season, not disputing his contribution to the treble at all or that we miss him badly.

I don't think we wanted to let Gundog go, I think the main reason why he is not here now is his bird. She talked non stop in his ear: babe, you spent so many years here, you won so many things, let's go in another place and secure our future. You just won everything with City, what more do you want let me suck your charles dickens.

He is the only one I wanted to keep, the rest were shipped for decent money, but we failed to reinvest them in a smart way.
I said it, I would avoid looking for solutions in the league: Philips, Nunes, Kovacic, all shit.

No KDB no chances on a plate. No KDB teams have less to worry about. No Gundo the games we need a man to step up and turn a bad performance into a win. We need to kill teams, yesterday should have been 7-0 before we get to the final minutes. I was told by my mate yesterday these fuckers are full of energy, when they should thinking this getting messy. 2-0 should lead to a mauling which is what we did do. Needs sorting.

Yesterday I felt like we'd blown the season.
We're 5 points off the top.
I do think this Club world Cup has distracted us, and there will be some distraction effect in the wake of the club world cup over Xmas, which won't help us.
But we've not quite blown it yet.

We got a break with the dipper result today, plus they lose Salah in January to Afcon & have to play Arsenal twice too. Forget the 3 teams above us though it's effectively in our hands to win an historic fourth consecutive title.

A draw in both arse dip matches would be great.
We could end up with a final day of season in which 4 or 5 teams could win the title.
The refs wouldn't dream of manufacturing such a scenario, surely...

Weird that Liverpool have had Wolves last game of the season three times in recent years.
