From MEN -

But Jeremy Doku and Erling Haaland were absent from training and will miss City's semi-final against Urawa Red Diamonds on Tuesday, a game that is also likely to come too soon for De Bruyne.

we've got no chance according to the FIFA commentator, "a decade of European dominance is set to end." He could well be right, they look formidable.

Still, like winning the CL. We have to win it, just to shut the rags and scouse fans up

Thicko fans going on and on about FFP breaches. Need taking down a peg or two.

Winning this gets them even more riled up.

Agreed. Don't know what the prize money is but all adds up.
Let's add this one to the cupboard

Not forgetting we now qualify for the expanded competition in 2025 which the dippers and rags do not - costing them both millions :D

City squad for Club World Cup in full: Ederson, Stefan Ortega, Scott Carson, Kyle Walker, Josko Gvardiol, Manuel Akanji, Ruben Dias, John Stones, Nathan Ake, Sergio Gomez, Rico Lewis, Rodri, Kalvin Phillips, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne, Oscar Bobb, Phil Foden, Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish, Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland..
no finger sniffing here

Half that squad will not be used, they'll sit in the stands waiting for Pep. Some of them might get on for the last 10 mins of the final if we are losing. The rest will be fucked even more for the festive games. Expect more injuries. We're only 5 points behind but should be at least 4 clear of that cunt Arteta.

Fluminense gave up a lot of chances to Al Ahly. Not sure about formidable. They’re pretty old too.

There's 3 maybe 4 worth winning.
The rest ie Super cups, World club cups, Audi cups, Bin lids, Playing some shower of cunts in July cups, etc.etc are all meaningless.

I don't believe you either - the status of this competition may well be iffy but we are in it to win it!

Well I do believe me.
If you put any team into a semi final or final the players will want to win it. So yes they are going to try to win it.
Of course i will watch us and want us to win, but really it means very little. And will be forgotten about very quickly once the PL resumes. I just hope we use it as warm weather training and nobody comes back crocked.
Maybe Kevin might gets a few minutes, that could be a positive arising from it.

I really want us to win this. I know it’s a load of bollocks as a competition but it won’t come around very often and this a chance to have won pretty much every cup possible in my lifetime.

You won't see it mentioned but no-one has ever won five trophies in an English calendar year. Let's add this pot to our haul and watch the tumbleweed in the media
