Hopefully a win so we can start one of these “new eras” everyone’s going on about this morning.

That's a brave prediction. Everton resurgence might be a return for them being a bogey team for us. Having said that, a fair few teams were bogwy teams over the 70's 80's and 90's

Am I correct in thinking these haven’t beaten us since January 2017?

I think they were a bogey team under Moyes but we usually smash fuck out of them now.

A lot rests on whether Rodri and Doku are for to start. Everton are effectively a mid table side ( forget the 10 point deduction). They’re well organised and they’ve got Calvert Lewin up front. This will be a tough test.

He’ll probably score today but DCL has only scored over 10 goals in a Prem season twice. Last season he scored a whopping 2 goals and has 3 goals for this season.

Sounds like someone that will get a hatrick against us

Agree on the must win. We dont win today and forget about it.

Yes for me a must win as well.
I hope Pep sat them down for a team meeting and told them the shadow boxing is over now, it's time for the real fight to begin.

Wr can just about afford to lose today.
I think we will lose at least 2 points. Toffees will be up for this and we're jet lagged and off form.

I don't buy into the notion they're tired, we're out of form and inconsistent at the back.

Start Stones and Dias as our centre backs and we'll win this.

Likely to be a tight game. Everton on a good run since the deduction and will be fighting everyone and anyone for 'justice'. This has galvanized them no doubt. Bookies have them at 4/1 and us a 1/2, which is fairly tight and reflects Everton's (and our) form.

Hopefully we start to hit some form because lately we've been drab. Any news on KDB, Haaland, Doku? One or two of those back could make the difference. Also hoping Rodders is fit.

Predicting a squeaky 0-1 win for us with Alvarez to score.

It has been reported that the Norwegian striker did not take part in training on Boxing Day.

Not sure about Dokers but I wouldn’t be dropping a guy that’s scored 3/3 in the Prem for him anyway.

Rodri is the real question. It’s actually impossible to get updates from most media websites because of the amount of adverts that pop up when you visit a page. Total nonsense

Training photos onn OS has a photo of Kovacic with the caption 'midfield enforcer', that said Rodri said himself he was OK and ready for next match, unless the physios over rule him?
