Delighted with the fight we showed in that second half. We showed true grit.
Well done lads.

Great second half. The players really dug in and earned that.
Alvarez, Foden, Bernardo and Grealish worked really well in the second half. Caused Everton a lot of problems.
Akanji is still crap though. Pep, please stop playing him!

and you know all of arrivals were licking their lips when they saw us down 1.
I mate of mine who’s an Arsenal supporter before the game was very much hoping we drop points, and we know that away at Everton has been a problem as I can certainly recall.
To come back and perform the way we did shows the character that I recall winning us the titles in the past.
it also speaks to perhaps the importance of the club World Cup building confidence for the players coming into this match after a poor runner form and a little bit of a respite in warm weather, that some of our players might’ve enjoyed to get away from the UK and the media and cold, especially for our players from warm climates who always dream of sunny Spain.

Second half we really showed why we are Treble winners. Excellent and we look so much better when we are more direct charging forward.

Absolute imbeciles, what the fuck was that from the so-called pundits? Everton deserved fuck all and the every stat will show that. Owen is still in BT and Rag/Dipper mode, what the fuck was he doing on our game the little gimp.

https://x.com/dxbruyneszn/status/174013 ... 9Awxy5lqVQWell worth looking at the Foden shot against the post. Brilliant long pass from Ederson. Well held up by Alvarez. Brilliant strike by Phil. So unlucky.

Something also worth noting, as many have about Foden.
Arguably, since Kev and Haaland have gone down…
Has it helped with his confidence to feel he’s truly a key player?
Not just someone who may or may not play or be relied upon the Pep has in the past?
Even though yes, there have been some complications and flaws that we are still aware of particularly regarding giving the ball away over the course of some of the games where we’ve dropped points.
It seems he’s really taking the opportunity, especially as the season has gone on, to shine, and show what many hoped or expected he would demonstrate.
Right now he’s performing at top top level.
And the finishing is definitely something that stands out besides everything else that was already there,

Foden says he likes playing in this position in the centre. Hopes Pep keeps playing him there.

Proper gimp! Choses his stance according to who is the best paymaster.
Seen McPointalot waiting for the courts years ago and gave him an absolute mouthful, Owen I’d just knock out. In a polite way.

I think it is a fitness problem with him, he is puffing and blowing all the time . Perhaps give him a bit of rope
.... to hang himself eh ?
If you look at Rodri, like Fern before him he has become a machine, Definitely more muscle on the guy since he came to City.
