It was obvious that the 3 Newcastle players were all offside. I notice the BBC didn't even show the Guimares challenge that he got booked for. Potentially a red card but TNT Sports never showed a replay at the time so who knows.

Pep said it looks like an impact injury and no word on anything more than that.

Pretty positive in his post match interview

Looks like he'll be back for Burnley - Walker's studs cut into his knee

Thank you

Christ. That loos horrible.

In fact, I've yet to see a replay of the goal attempt just before he came off.

I said in the match rant that one day, one of these REFS is going to get punched in the face...and it will be a deserved punch.

He was fucking DISGUSTINGLY abysmal.

No.

I loved that finish. Absolutely galvanised the player, staff and fans. Before Christmas i was fairly disheartened by what i saw in a few games of us throwing points away. Yesterday reversed that opinion. Apart from refereeing decisions , some great goals were scored. A slight negative for me was Walker not getting close enough to either of the scorers. A final chuckle was Bernie having to be held back from giving it to the Toon bench at the final whistle celebrations love that little fella's attitude and his goal was sublime. The rag idiot Goodridge was well wound up by our victory

Showing your age, but i concede that he is a moronic twat. Just wish Dias had launched him a bit higher into that camera on the touchline. Looking at the reverse angle Gordon was pulling on Dias as much as Dias was pushing him bur perhaps i look thru blue tinted specs

Personally I did think it was a foul by Dias.

But Gordon is still a moron :D

The only thing "tight" was whether there was a 4th player offside, out of camera shot, because ALL THREE of those are the VAR equivalent of a million miles offside!

About 30 seconds before that picture. Kavanagh blew up for offside against City indicating there was a player coming back , but who, by the time Doku tries for the ball there is no offside and certainly nobody involved coming back from offside. That turn over of possession enabled the Geordies to get three offside , clearly offside running to goal. Now, i've just watched most of the Spuds rags game and the linesmen had their flags up for offside immediately against the Rags .

One call in the second half was very dubious against Werner. I know , i know, he can't help himself. However the game was stopped before anything could happen.

Refereeing in the PL is a complete sham ,a farce . Or planned and co-ordinated.

Furthermore, the Commentator is telling us about what the VAR officials and the referee are talking about - reference to the VAR ref telling the onfield ref that Walker hit Ed. Why are these leeches getting the audio feed and the crowd and audiences watching not getting it ? at 4.20 in on the game.

Shambolic performance from the ref all game. Hope a complaint has been lodged. Took some magical moments to win this one.

Just watched the highlights again. The winning goal is a thing of beauty, superb KDB pass and Bobb with the feet of a ballet dancer, superb.

I saw Pep’s comments on Bobb today. Havent heard the whole interview so will wait to properly pass comment, just think it’s a shame he’s said “if he decides to stay” and then used an example of a player leaving and doing well…Could have used Foden as an example of a player that stayed and has done more than just score a few penalties.
