I did laugh, very funny.
Of course it was all fine and dandy when liverpool dominated in late 70s and 80s.
And when the rags did it in 90s and 00s.
All grand nothing to cry about then.

This is where I end up time and again with utd fans. Apparently, popular folklore would have you believe that SLY did not bankroll them to be their poster boys. Righti then, none so blind as them that can't / don't want to see. The salty tears are already being rehearsed as we move towards an unprecedented fourth title on the spin. I expect a lot of shady happenings in an attempt to stop that and back to back chumps league successes - bring it on

Although it all made me piss myself laughing, the reference to Phil 90’s style haircut offending this prick really amused me.

I think it would be timely for City fans to display a huge IRONIC stadium banner in the shape of a gigantic wreath bearing the words..."WE ARE SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS"
Scousers like wreaths

you're just a pair of spoilspots....How about the opening bars of "Go Now" by the Moody Blues or Gloria Jones to mark klipperty's leaving

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the dippers couldn't get Alonso and Klipperty has "a change of heart, I must stay here for my boys blah blah candles blah blah not our fault blah blah" after he is offered a massive pay rise

I thought this as well. He’s been given an ego boost by the media “they’ll never replace him!” “Look at the job he’s done” and the players inject more….i mean give their all for him. And then he decides to stay

Bacon only stayed because we pissed on his triumphal exit when we won the title the P/L had promised him.
Mind you, I can see the same happening with Klipperty.

Thought he announced his retirement years before, around 2003? Somewhere ages ago and it was his wife who basically told him that she wasn’t going to have him moping round the house and to rescind his decision. She knew he was a cantankerous old cunt as well

Indeed he did. Can't remember when but 2003 sounds about right.

Astonishing in some respects how this hasn’t been made more of. Much more. As it is basically taking performance enhancing medication via a loophole. Maybe it’s more widespread than just the dippers?
