Africa Cup of Nations

Now the Prince isn't one of us less interest on here - still a few other ex City players involved tho - Seko Fofana, Kelechi Iheanach & Olivier Ntcham - any I've missed?
Big changes from the last quarter finals for sure

A second class tournament at the level of the Championship at best. Never have and never will watch even 10 minutes of a game

Don't see many Championship sides surviving in that heat  Seriously I think you do the individuals involved a disservice, some cracking players on show.

Also worth remembering NB that in the last World Cup Tunisia beat France & Portugal, Morocco beat Spain & Belgium and Cameroon beat Brazil.

Did you see that Tanzania player who had to get taken off after 30-odd minutes because he couldn't deal with the heat? British guy who plays for Wealdstone, and had never stepped foot in Africa before being called up for the tournament, apparently.

Overall, there's been a lot less coverage of AFCON this year than ever before (on the BBC at least). I guess because women's football has been prioritized over it.
