Next round draw before the Chavs game tomorrow.

Based on the last Draw.

We've drawn the Rags away

You know it’s going to be a totally different game. Luton are one of the first teams that I’ve seen go at us and not just sit with 2 low blocks. Rags will be completely different and play like a 1st Division team, trying to hit us on the break.

One thing I’ve noticed from the last couple of games, as teams are trying more with the high press and retreating in basketball style, is how we are trying to draw more of them out and playing that direct ball to Haaland. Shows once again how Pep is keen to evolve our tactics and turn them against our opposition .

I’d take that.

Pep played a much stronger side than I thought he would and got his reward. No injuries to Haaland Stones or de Bruyne thank goodness. Unfortunately the same isn’t true of Grealish. Personally I hope Bobb starts on Sunday. Doku loses possession too much for me.

Thought Doku was very poor. We looked so much better with Jack out there. Doku has stopped doing those runs down the left, constantly makes the wrong decision and keeps losing possession with stupid tricks in our own half. I hope Bobb plays Sunday as well. He's a lot more disciplined.
I know all the talk was about Kev and Erling last night but great performances again from Kova and Akanji along with the usual superb performances of Ake and Stones.

I said after his first match that Doku would have the making runs beaten out of him by Pep. Hes not the type of player to hold the ball, he’s a player we need to get the ball and run with it - make something happen when we need him. If he’s not going to do that and Pep wants him to stop and pass backwards every time we might as well get rid as Grealish and Bobb do that better.

Better performance all round last night but against a side that want to make a game of it but couldn't compete.
We looked alot sharper and quicker to the ball and the main thing is Haaland found his shooting boots. Shame about Grealish but obviously came back too early
Lets how some of last nights performance carries over to the Prem.
UTD usually step up and fluke a result, so hopefully we can get a couple early doors and fuck them over
