View from the Away End

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

View from the Away End

Not too many comments again for this one, just the usual doom and gloom from the barcodes. I can't make it this evening, which means a City goal fest. Not feeling overly stressed, just going to watch the game on TV, with a beer or two.

COME ON CITY!!!

Referee: Simon Hooper
Assistant referees: Adrian Holmes & Simon Long
Fourth official: Craig Pawson
VAR: Thomas Bramall
Support VAR: Jarred Gillett
Assistant VAR: Neil Davies

Team Selection

Karius

Krafth

Lascelles

Schar

Botman

Burn

Livramento

Bruno

Willock

Hall

Isak

And the rest...

I’m confident we can keep the score under 5.

I am fucking sick of playing these cunts.

Nick a goal, Sit deep, defend like it’s Paris all over again and pray the ref doesn’t lose his bottle in the face of overwhelming corruption this time

Even if we did beat these, we’ll have to face the scousers in the semi.

We usually give these a decent game, we did in January tbh Almiron hasn't scored in 15 games. He is due a goal. Probably not in this game though.

Quarter final of the cup and I have less hope of winning it now than I did when we entered the third round...Meh.

As good as Man City are they do have a knack for dropping points to daft teams at times, It obviously comes from underestimating them and just turning up expecting to win, which if they watched our game against Chelsea they will hopefully do with us as its the only chance we have.

Can’t fkn believe this man, Wolves or Coventry are gonna’ be in an FA Cup semi at Wembley. Richest owners in the world, we still can’t do it. Best season in two decades, we still can’t do it. We’re just not allowed nice things, we’re cursed. We try to compete with the top guys, they change the rules. We get the best dof, they take him. We try to compete and we’re “ruining football”.

Absolutely zero chance.

I just hope we avoid a confidence sapping hammering and that we come out of the game with no new injuries...Love football, me.

Have no idea what sort of performance we’ll put in. We’ll lose but I hope we put in a decent account. I think it’s likely we’ll play well and be up for it but we don’t stand a chance against them away even if they put out a second string side.

We went for it last night and conceded 3. Imagine what City would do. I do think we should be as attacking as we're capable of tbf, but if Howe saw last night and wanted to try and sit in and then hit on the break, fair play.

Fully expecting city to go a couple of goals up in the first 20 mins then take the foot off the gas. I’m going 4-0.

I got a feeling we will win this. In Howe we trust.

I usually treat my body like a temple. Last night I treated mine like a whorehouse above a liquor store next to a motherfucking Taco Bell.

Cheers CM

Sounds as if a few of them are realising that having rich owners is no good if you voted for FFP a few years back.

I don’t mind Newcastle too much. Certainly prefer to see them doing better than red shirts and London clubs

As long as we are having another day out at Etihad South though!!

Obviously refers to manufacturers of all dairy products.
