Big game today. Need to be focused as Arsenal seem to be a bit more ruthless this season. Just lately they've had some big wins and their GD is much better than ours.

We have a brilliant record at home to these though and that will be playing on their minds no doubt so it is up to us to hammer home that initiative.

No Walker or Stones is a blow but Akanji will be fine. Or Lewis for that matter. And we may even see Jackie on the bench so a positive there.

Quite confident about this one as it goes

3-2 Haaland Foden Ake

Pep really up for the Arsenal match but complaining bitterly about the schedule in the run in.

He coughs and sighs quite a lot in press conferences. Gives the impression he can’t wait for them to finish. Still he is genuinely frustrated at the PL and FA showing no interest in helping English clubs playing European fixtures. He likes a small squad because it’s easier to keep players happy. Still at the business end of the season it doesn’t take many injuries for us to be down to the bare bones. He can’t have it both ways.

Think low scoring and cagey would suit us better. They've been scoring loads. Reckon we should try to keep it tight, be happy with 0-0 half-time, let them get restless and panicky, then turn the screw from 70 mins. 2-1 City.
All we are saying is give Doug a pass.

Huge news. Stones on the bench. Doubt he’ll feature but should be back for the Real Madrid away fixture. Ederson didn’t make it today somOrtega starts. Martinelli on the bench for Arsenal.

Bern in the middle instead of Kova and Bobb on the wing and that would have been sound.

Kovacic in so Grealish missed out. Not a surprise. Otherwise as expected.Saka and Gabriel start for Arsenal but Martinelli on the bench which is good news,

God knows how this pans out. Good team selection considering what we can choose from and I’d normally be confident against a team that we have so many continuous home wins against. However, there is that niggling feeling that you can’t just put your finger on.

And from what I’ve seen in the media, I’m not sure we’re actually involved today, it’s been an Arse love-in by them.
