Imo pep wanted to keep him. Palmer is a cockey rag who wanted to start every game.pep would have also taught him to stop being direct and stop and sideways pass..

It was Pep that sold him. As Pep has stated, Palmer asked to go on loan and Pep said you can either stay or be sold.
