Stone's hammy is an issue - no way he is fully fit. Defence is going to have to pick itself from what remains - fuck knows what that looks like but Pep won't play Rico. Both Foden and Bernie were rested against palace but I don't see Pep taking KDB and / or Erling out which he will do against Luton. Difficult game but I would trust Rico, he has been very good last few games and is very unlucky not to have played more this season. Having said that if Josko is fit he will start with Akanji on the right.

Gvardiol as you say travelling. Presumably a late fitness test awaits tomorrow. The fact that Walker trained alone offers a bit of encouragement for the rest of the season and maybe even the return leg on Wednesday 17.
