Horrible early KO for this one. A very good performance v Villa on Wednesday should set us up nicely. Though with the crunch tie in Madrid next week, who knows what the starting XI will be.

Simply have to win and I think we will but I envisage a close game

1-0 Foden

Too soon after the late game vs Villa.

Bit of a bogey team for us.

Don't expect fairness from ref.

As always, I am not optimistic.

Come on City!

Hate 1230 kick-offs. Better win, otherwise makes a shit weekend.

Feel for Lewis he played well thenother night but can't see him starting as Jonny Stones needs.so minutes in his legs ready for Madrid. Rest of team I'd keep pretty much unchanged and have the Viking and KDB come off the bench once we're a couple of goals up. As for Eddie I'm not arsed either way as Stefen doing well.

3 - 1 City. Phil, Phil and Akanji.

I'd normally agree but palace away, that's the sort of game I expect Alvarez to have some success. I'm actually quite excited about this line up for this particular game. We need foden rested and firing for Tuesday night.

A strong side. Madrid is on Tuesday, not Wednesday. Some rotation inevitable. Alvarez might play close to Haaland rather than in midfield. Akanji, Bernardo and Foden will play on Tuesday. Ederson too probably.

Wondered why this Susoho was on the bench a lot, over the likes of Hamilton -

Sussoho was born in Spain to Gambian parents, and moved to England with them at the age of 11.[1] He is fluent in Catalan.

Looks like a 442 to me. Given palace play 5 at the back these days maybe he wants two up top to occupy their defence and kdb a bit deeper.

Who knows with pep.
