He scored one from open play (otherbwas a penno) against 10 players and the manager and his number 2 also sent off, hardly tearing it up?

And the one from open play he did his best to mess up until their defender gave it to him again

Maybe ''he created loads of space for people running onto the other night '' on top of scoring 2 goals :lol

Maybe he did, there's a guy like that at City who's scored 75 goals in less than 2 seasons and some fans still aren't convinced.
Oh well once Baldie goes and we get a decent manager maybe we'll get rid.

Madrid have forwards who can hurt us. I doubt we’re good enough to shut them out completely. We need to score two and big Ed has to be on form. Set against that we have players who can hurt them and we’re at home. Going to the match. I suspect it will be a long nervy night. City to edge it 2-1.

Didn't we put four past them last season ?

We have to go at them.

They will get chances and with us we tend to concede.

Be wary of pace on break and vinicius, rodrygo and Valverde

Go at them from the off

Does kev come in for kova and do him and Phil play Central? Has that ever happened before? If so did they play well..

Madrid have improved since last year. Our defence is less solid. If Walker plays and plays well it will make a big difference.

They weren't great against Leipzig just scraping through and they drew with us with 2 freak deflections and a wondergoal. I'll settle for them scoring if we score 4.

They hurt us on numerous counter attacks last week. Ok two deflected goals an a worldie but they always looked dangerous. I’m not expecting an easy match. I am expecting a City victory.

I never had the feeling they were dangerous last week, even on THEIR patch. The second deflection was so ridiculous the weak shot was at the goalie after all that time in the build up. Also i felt someone hat to go at Modric in the build up to the third. The third goal , whilst a beaut , could have gone anywhere - we've seen that happen so many times.

There's going to be havoc if people keep using last week's thread
