PL Games April 13/14/15

Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

The murdering cunts are about to implode or is it just me?

Saw Virgil the best defender of all time going out on his teammates in the post match interview, Robo, the best left back since football was invented also had a go. And Klippy doesn't have the desire to do anything?

They also seem out of steam? Maybe they gave up the juices so there will be no questions asked after he is going?

Got motd on

With the other cups we will be chasing again and they seem to shit it when we go on top

I was just thinking yesterday we are in the run for the treble, consecutive times. It was never done.
I don't see us doing it, but we are contenders and I didn't see even a headline in the media about this.

Good

Rather we went under the radar

I am ok under the radar, also.
But it is really not fair for them. These boys redefined english football and will never get the recognition they deserve. Not fair at all

Mmm interesting, a double treble, that would be very nice. But there's a lot of football to play before we take that seriously. IF we go on to win the PL, for me this would be the worst season of the four performance wise, this team is not at the football level of the centurions team. But the mentality is probably stronger now and that's the difference. Were better able to handle pressure now and I feel we will drop less points than the others and win it.

Interesting though when Klipperty announced mid season he was fucking off that the media narrative was all about a possible quad and giving him the perfect send off that one of the greatest ever managers deserved.

A treble had only ever been done once before and we did it
Three top flight titles in a row had been done only 4 times previously and two of those occurred nearly a century ago. We did it
A domestic treble had never been done before. We did it

We are in a position where we can truly make history like its never been done before and never likely will again, by winning back to back Trebles. A truly monumental achievement if we were to do it. And with just possibly a dozen games left it is a very real possibility. We will need a good bit of luck along the way and in football, anything can happen of course. But you'd think the media would acknowledge these achievements

And the fact we don't get the recognition that our recent achievements blatantly deserve must be for a reason

Is it they don't want to write about it for fear of it happening again?
Do they not want to acknowledge us as the greatest team the country and arguably the world has seen? As it means their red shirt darlings aren't the top dogs the media think they are

One hand I agree with PP that we should get more recognition. But I also like the way we just go about our business winning trophies without much ado or fuss and just crack on with it

Cole Palmer is the first Chelsea player to score in seven successive Premier League home appearances.

2-0 now and he scores again

Yes it does but we've signed Nunes and that makes up for it.

Apparently he was given the choice between going out on loan somewhere or being sold: he chose the latter and I guess Chelsea’s offer was too good for us to refuse. Looking somewhat shortsighted on our part now. Having said that, though I liked him as a player, I think he’s progressed far faster at Chelsea than he would have with us.

He wanted away, simple as....

Face like a smacked arse shows his ego, not a team player, talented yes, but needed to be shifted on.

Everyone took the piss when Ferran an Txiki rocked up talking about Holistic but when you think about it, that is what the club has become through weeding out the ego's.

That’s not true mate. Pep has said himself when asked that Palmer asked to go on loan and Pep told him he could either leave permanently or stay.

Brighton were well known to be interested in a loan. Would have made sense but Pep saw his arse.

Palmer is a prick anyway.

Now goes joint top with Haaland on 20 PL goals

Got to admit, never saw this sort of return from him and was quite happy to get £45M for him. Funny old game sometimes.....

I didn’t see it either, but we don’t watch them every day in training and we’re not close to their development. Pep has already admitted it’s his fault - it’s one of those things.

Palmer is a whopper at the end of the day.
