Here is the place to talk about all things city and football!

A rare Saturday afternoon 3pm KO for this one. A great result midweek and all to play for next Wednesday which makes the predictions of team selection tricky. And as such I have a funny feeling it isn't going to be straightforward today.
A win is crucial and I don't care how it comes. A tight game with a few surprises and twists and turns is on the cards
Hope we nick it 2-1

There's been a lot of talk about resting players for this game.
Forget the cup game luton will be fighting. Only one we should rest is Rodri.
Play Haaland he needs to play to get back to form.

Luton have a hell of a lot of injuries and many are calling for players to be rested. Wonder what team we will see?
My only worry with Luton’s position is that they play a load of speedy kids who can fluke something on the break. No real evidence of form with them but beat them twice this season at theirs so would suggest a tentative 3-1 for us. Although, I would like to see a tightened defence going forward for the Real game.
In the words of my Old Man, "Life will never be the same without Man City, so get it in while you can".

I think Pep is going to surprise everyone and stat with a strong team for an hour then ring the changes. Big Ed needs to come back to get his rhythm and Walker should start if he's fit. I'd rest Stones and Rodders. Focus on this game and let's keep the pressure on

Play:
Rico right back.
Bobb and doku on wings.
Alvarez.
I'd play haaland as he doesn't need resting but then alavarez is compromised.
Rest:
Foden
Rodri.
Decisions:
Kev?
Bern?
Kova? He won't play weds
Nunes (!) I'd say no too big a risk

If the likes of Nunes can’t come in and play well against Luton, when players are in need of a rest, then we’re in trouble.
We’re talking about a £50m+ player.

Rodri can rest after half time if we are winning.

Haaland not even on the bench.
And Kovacic far far too slow for Rodri’s role. Mentally and physically. Lewis will have to step in and help him
