Player ratings. No one scored lower than Alvarez. I love him btw. And I'm not tribal when it comes to players, so I'll say what I see.
It's a funny old game because I had some experts ridiculing me during the match...

The Guardian. 100% nonce central. On par with Jenas giving KDB MOTM

I rather suspect Jenas was pinning all his hopes on a Chelsea win so he could give MotM to Palmer.

Then when we won he thought oh shit I now have to award it to a City player. And because he's an imbecile who hadn't actually watched the game, he just gave it to our most high profile player

He’s on par with the worst pundits. “That’s definitely not a penalty. No way. He’s pulling his arm to his body” about 30 seconds later…. “Hmmmm interesting, I’ve seen those given, maybe it was a penalty….im not sure you know”

You don't like Alverez because of Carl. It's the only explanation.

London marathon today…the place will be utter chaos!!! Glad we played yesterday, even if the players aren’t.

Add to that the scouse rats away at fulham plus palace v happy hammers. You'd think the powers that be didn't know the sporting calendar. Glad we played yesterday and got the win but we should have played today there is no way that the FA would help us though - blatantly showing their colours

He's literally said on that message that he loves him. I thought Alvarez was shit yesterday but most of them were. I'll give a pass to Ortega, Ake and Akanji who were good and Doku was great when he came on.

I think both Akanji and Doku should be in the mix.

Akanji didn’t let anyone down yesterday. He’s just not right for that Stones role imo.

One of those games where nobody really stood out where we won attritionally.

I hope Pep & the boys are having a restful few days before having to go through the horror of another football game on Thursday. They really are earning their millions lately aren’t they, poor wee lambs.

come on Guys, London can handle so many events. It is big enough and the tube works fine , except at Baker St on a sunday morning until 7.30 am when you are trying to get to Paddington for the fast train to Heathrow. :|

Palace ground equals Bolton in terms of geography, Dippers away crew would merely dent the underground as Zuri says. None of the teams today would have been near the marathon en mass.
