Although Jack had a good game, the turning point for me was when Doku came on.
Immediately the tempo in the game was raised as he caused panic within the Chelsea defence.
I would love him to get more minutes in the team as I feel he can only get better.

Doku hardly gave the ball away and tracked back. If he keeps it up this could spell the end of Grealish

Grealish was probably our best player tbh. But Doku really good today and Wednesday

Hahhahahhahahahahhaha. Comedy gold

Good to win a scruffy semi final.

Having had time to assess today's game I just need to say how absolutely impressed I am with that group of players
I was not confident due to the exhaustion and emotions from less than 72, yes 72 hours earlier.
Chelsea had an easy game on Monday. Take nothing away from them that was a bloody amazing performance.

So very well said. With our success comes arrogance. You're dealing with human beings. And there's a reason no one has ever done what we're potentially about to do.

No one.

Not the mighty fergie shitbags or invincible cunt houses.

Come on. Seriously lads

Great result. Delighted to be back in the final.

Performance was not good but half of the starting 11 looked absolutely knackered. I think introducing players like Bobb, Doku and Lewis earlier in the game could have helped us. Rodri, KDB, Bernardo, Grealish and Walker were all struggling massively and way below the standards we’re used to.

Big shout out to Ortega. He was superb. Made some great saves and gave us the composure at the back we desperately needed.

But credit to the players for hanging in there and eventually getting the result. They would have been physically and mentally drained after the Madrid game but the double is still on!

Pep’s point about the scheduling of our match was spot on. We should have played on Sunday with the United-Coventry game played yesterday. Although we did have the option to rotate a few more players which would have helped.

Gutsy performance despite being poor for large spells.

Watching this game I can’t help but wonder why Alvarez doesn’t get the stick Haaland does. Cos he runs a bit? He scores half the goals and goes missing just as often. I don’t dislike him either, it’s just madness how much we give Haalan shit.

I’ve seen a clip of Bernardo nearly in tears talking to the media about being tired and kicking off about when the game was played.

Perhaps Pep could have played Bobb instead of Bernardo? Poor Bern has to fight on the pitch for City and then when he gets home he has to fight his Mrs, so it’s doubly hard for him.

Spot on.

Chelsea had to cover Doku with 2 defenders which gave us a bit more space in the centre. Grealish only needs one man as he rarely tries to beat a man one on one.

Grealish constantly has two-three on him? That’s exactly why he cuts in.

Doku and Jack are two completely different players that play in the same position. Like Kane and Haaland. Doku uses his pace to beat players, Grealish keeps the ball and draws the foul.

Reading a few player ratings from yesterday's game, Alvarez doesn't score as highly as i thought he would. The rest of the players were within tolerance of personal opinions but in general ALvarez wasn't rated at all. Is it because i like him as a player that it clouds my assessment .
They blow smoke up De Bruyne's arse when they talk about the cross for the goal , as it was deflected into the path of Silva and his shot was deflected into the goal

Kev was shite yesterday, the fact he booted one of there players because he was frustrated shows that.

Alvarez played well in my opinion
