Not so sure about that. They couldn't put us away when we were out on our feet, mentally as well as physically, and that was with golden bollox playing! Can see Arse winning this at a canter, but hope I'm completely wrong.

...wasn't wrong, then :(

No

I however couldn't have been more wrong

Looks like Chelsea will be another club changing their manager in the summer

Arsenal and Liverpool both gave us a nice present but we couldn’t expect another one. We’ve got to do our job starting on Thursday.

Despite today's result, the bookies, who give nowt away for free (except BetFred that one time :D ) still have us as heavy favourites for the title. Average odds across the markets are:
City, 4/5 which is a 55.56% chance of winning.
Arse, 9/4, 30.7 chance.
Dippers, 11/2, 15.38% chance.

It's still ours to lose. Roll on Thursday.

Why even the fuck would people consider what bookies spout, they are in the "game" for one reason... I learnt many years ago (when gambling was regulated) there is only one winner & it isn't us.....mugs game for even looking at odds....

It costs nowt to look, and you made my point by agreeing there is only one winner in the betting game. They're not going to offer better odds on a team they believe will cause them to lose more money...

Don’t forget the odds also reflect what has already been placed and what liabilities the bookie stands to lose or gain. Higher odds for Arenal and the dippers could mean the bookies want more bets on these to offset liabilities already on City

Add up those odds, and you'll see they come out at just over 100. That's like the 0 on a roulette wheel; the bookies' profit. I don't gamble at all, but I look at bookies' odds to a) see what realistic probabilities are, and/or b) to look at who people are putting the most money on (because odds are affected by betting patterns, with bookies offering better odds to entice gamblers to gamble on outcomes they otherwise wouldn't, in order to cover their losses).
