The City app has all sorts of wonderful articles about past youth cups. But nowhere can I find details for this final, which, which I sort of heard was tomorrow, Friday
A visit to the FA site, however, reveals it is 7pm Friday 10th, v Leeds.
I suspect this is the first leg, though there is no information about this. EDS fixtures on the City app are 'not available '
Anyway, good luck lads

It looks like it's a single final and at the Etihad, seems we drew it

The eldest daughter and I are attending and looking forward to it. Like Nigel's Tackle, I went to the 2008 Final, 2nd leg at home and thought Vlad Weiss would go on to be a useful player. Always fun trying to spot which youngsters will make a career in the game. David Ball scored one of the goals if I remember correctly.

I think he’s in Oz now Ball. Went to a school near me back in the day. Saw him in Warrington when he was possibly at Fleetwood

This was on the site about 5 days ago - did a screen grab as my son was asking for info to take my grandson...should still be tickets available.

In fact, just checked the site and it's showing under Academy fixtures with tickets available as it's them, not the EDS. Hope this helps.

Well done City lads. Hopefully the seniors can do the business at Craven Cottage tomorrow lunchtime.

More importantly another group of players coming through following the likes of Phil, Rico, Oscar, Cole etc.
Emile Heskeys lad was among the scorers tonight....

Well done Blue Boys - nice to see the FA commentary team pig sick. Those southerners just hate to see us win

The latest charge levelled at us will be overspending on Brasso...

Very entertaining second half with both centre-halves very, very good in bringing the ball out from the back and starting attacks, usually by switching the ball to the opposite wing or getting into the last third and giving it to a more creative player. Was looking forward to seeing Joel Ndala as he has been on the fringes of the first team this season but after a bright start he kept running down blind alleys and losing possession. However, he kept his head up and kept going and finished the match strongly.
True Grant in goal made a couple of good saves and looked assured (as you would expect!) in possession. Not that impressed with the left back Stephen Mfuni, but to be fair, he looks like a right footed centre-half playing out of position as he conceded the ball with blind passes across field that Leeds players easily picked off a couple of times. Again, like Joel Ndala, he grew into the match and scored the third.
Al-in-all, very encouraging for the future.
