From how I understood it, he was never charged with doctoring emails. What happened there is that an independent assessor looked at them and said there wasn't a solid enough 'chain of evidence' for them to ever stand up in court as evidence. Although I'm sure it's more technical than this, basically he copy-pasted the contents of emails, rather than had (copies of) the emails themselves. And in such a scenario, while you can say copy-pasted things exactly as they were, there's no bona fide proof that what you present as contents of emails is actually the contents of emails.

With Vinny going there, you'd imagine their attitude and skullduggery towards us would change. Vinny has to have one eye on managing us in the future - whether he would be good enough remains to be seen so that's got to be a plus. Its more likely that the good folks behind this goon are cartel driven
