Gone to Real Sociedad

Cheers Sergio. It's been emotional. 2nd only to Mendy and Berti Glauber in games to medals ratio

Such a sad day. Will raise a glass tonight to his contribution over the past two seasons.

Didn’t work out for him. But wish him well and hopefully his sell on will bring in a bit more money in due course

Totally agree NB, they don't always work out like we hoped but, he didn't cause any fuss, always did what was asked of him.

He played out of position, never had a proper run, but I hope he will come out decent.
Plus, he is City.

Best of luck.

Pep's fault he didn't succeed.

Pep sees these players every day in training. If any player shows he has got "it", any manager, Pep included, would use him. Blaming Pep for Sergio not being able to consistently achieve our level is like blaming any boss in any business because a worker can't do his job correctly.

Alvarez is used poorly - that’s a
Fact .

Alvarez is a Number 9. The problem for him is a certain Viking, who is quite handy.

Said viking was injured for a couple of months last season - Alvarez had a great opportunity to show what he's made of but didn't perform as well as I thought he would.. His stats for last season are good, but they'd need to be much better to dislodge Erling from the starting line up. Personally, I think Alvarez is a great player - he'd be a starter for most if not all other PL teams.

Alvarez needs to be slotted in alongside Haaland. Working as a pair and Alvarez doing most of the running i think is how i would use them. Feed them from using one winger , slot in Foden behand . We have so much possession we don't need to play just one - usually Haaland.
Alvarez is a top top player, young yet experience at the highest level. It is a shame that he is not being used frequently and is being allowed to get impatient

On your last point, if you check the stats he started 31 PL games last season, and came on in 5 other games. That's 36 involvements out of 38 games (he was an unused sub in the other 2). That's hardly not being used frequently. He played the full 90 mins in plenty of those, as well as 80+ in 5 or 6 others. His goal return of just shy of 1 in 2 games (allowing for 90 mins per game) is very decent. He just has an absolute beast ahead of him who's scoring at a goal a game. I hope the story of him wanting to leave is just more ragtop clickbait shite...
