Saw the news and the rumours flying around earlier.
Fingers crossed for him, what a horrible time for this to happen, no time is ever good, but it really looked and felt that this would be his time to shine now.
All we can do is wish him well in his recovery.

With Alvarez gone and Bobb on long lay off, that will surely change our transfer policy and force us to sign one or two now.

Hopefully not one that keeps reoccurring and messes up his career.

Sickened this was his year.

Rare we get such injuries in training we have been lucky. Apparently happened with no one around him.

Prob need that striker cover more than ever now

Gutted for the lad, let's hope it's not that bad that we rush off and buy a knee jerk signing like Nunes...

FFS. Out for a couple of months if it’s a fractured bone.

Real shame. But if it’s only 3 months out I don’t see why we’d buy a replacement. What happens when he comes back? If someone does come in it’s because they would have done so anyway

Injuries are sadly part and parcel of the game and we just have to take it on the chin. Let’s hope Savio, Doku and Grealish hit the ground running

Seems like a simple leg fracture. Not sure what Barcelona quacks can do. Standard six weeks in plaster, then building up the leg and getting back fitness. Should be back before Xmas at worst. It’s a bad blow but he’ll get over it.

He’s having an operation on the fracture in Barcelona so it’s not a simple case. May or not be back before Xmas. FFS.

So all we need is s recurrence of Haaland foot injuries and we are fucked at the moment.
We need a replacement for Alvarez and Bobb now

we've got foden, doku, savio, grealish, haaland, Bernado, McAtee or can all play in the front 3 - If Haaland is out there's a few options for the false 9.

We'll be fine and Bobb will be like a new signing in 3 months time

i'd add - if we need to spend it would be central midfield rather than the forward line

There is more to it than just 3 or 4 months out and them all is fine in the world. The big question is will he come back the player with the same potential?
These big injuries can have a psychological impact.
Many players are not the same even after full physical recovery.
