Ten Bob already making excuses saying the scum aren’t ready. Surely they’ll have enough to beat Fulham at home.

Fulham have been surprisingly quite active in this transfer window. Let's hope they get something from it tonight Imagine the headlines tomorrow with a rags win - " rags go top of the PL".

for those that like their early team news....

Pep said he hadn’t even trained properly. I doubt Walker and Stones will start. Maybe Foden but all three may be on the bench.

A bit of history tonight as Manchester United become the first team in Premier League history to be at home in their first game for eight consecutive seasons.

Just the luck of the draw again?………..

They had 13 or 14 straight home cup draws between the two domestic cups.

Every little helps

Maguire just got booked for ranting at the ref, new rule only captain can talk to the ref. Looks like they're finally enforcing it.

How pathetic though. Only the fuckin captain? There’s ten other players on the pitch. If they want to follow rugby, then mic up the refs for VAR decisions

I don't follow rugby but fairly sure only the captain can approach the ref???

Mic'ing the ref up I have no problems at all with

That’s what I’m saying, if they want to follow the rules of rugby then bring that rule in first, about the VAR.

It’s like these refs are children and they’ll get upset if anyone else apart from the captain isn’t nice to them.

I get crowding the ref - that shouldn’t happen. But fuckin me, not even allowed to question them now unless you’re the captain. Totally pathetic.

They need to earn respect
