First game at the Etihad and newly promoted Ipswich are the visitors. Will we see old boy Delap? I assume Philips is ineligible to play as part of the loan.

Good win at Chelsea last week and hopefully we'll take that momentum into the game this afternoon. Be nice for Gundogan to get a good reception from the crowd before the game though presumably he won't feature yet.

On paper this should be a simple 3 points though any promoted side early doors are a tougher proposition than say in November or December when reality has hit home. That said I am going for a good win

4-0 Haaland (2) Foden Doku

My usual sources dried up last week so if anyone can guide me to new ones for this afternoon's event it would be much appreciated.

I don’t do twitter. My lad told me he had seen/read that Lee the groundskeeper-finishes tomorrow. 33 year’s service to the blues I remember Stan the groundsman. Anyway all the best Lee.

Thanking you.

Gotta be Super Jack on the left and Doku on the right then.

Unless he fancies Foden or Bern on the right.

Rodri hasn’t trained with the main group yet. Just 1 on 1 training. Still some ‘niggles’. Likely to start full training next week. Obviously out today. Gundo has his international clearance so available. If he doesn’t start he’ll surely come off the bench. Savinho 50 50 to start.

I'm surprised you remembered Jack after the Gundo show.

They’ll always be a space in my heart for Super Jack but I think Ederson is the one now

Same side as last week. Pep looking to break down predictable deep central block with wide men. Foden ill apparently. Gundo will surely come on in second half.

Would rather see McAtee being brought on than Nunes.

I take it no interest in Kabore?

Mrs has said she’ll stay with the kids at the pool while I go to the Irish bar around the corner and watch the blues.

Will get absolutely off my box and get lost on the way back, guaranteed

Assumed Luton had signed him. Obviously not
