Almost forgot this was on.
Probably one of the toughest fixtures we have, but as it’s at home I still fully expect us to get the win. Hopefully we might see Foden get some minutes and I assume Rodri will be back.
2-0 Haaland and Foden

Rodri needs the minutes to be ready for Arsenal.
Foden may still be on the naughty step.
Dias and Akanji should be starting with Lewis and Josko fullbacks.

This is our hardest group game by a mile. They won Serie A by 19 points last season.
Any win will be great.

As Notts said in the other thread, imagine we will show our respects for Totto who has passed at 59 - top striker at Italia 90. Should be a good test for us ahead of the arse on sunday and a chance to breakdown a team that will sit back - exactly like sunday

A draw would be fine tbh. Savio apparently fit. Just had cramp apparently. I suspect Walker will start ahead of Rico. Not sure he deserves to. Will Pep play a double pivot with Rodri and Kovacic? Lautaro Martinez their danger man.

Since I’m not the manager I’m not sure what your point is. It is likely to be a very tight match and a draw is possible.

If Martinez isn’t playing it’s good news.

Haaland has 8 goals in 3 matches. They’ll probably be more worried about him than we are of this guy that can’t get in front of Alvarez for Argentina.

Rico starts in a big match ahead of Walker. Quite a moment. Akanji and Dias. Grealish ahead of Doku. Bernardo Rodri De Bruyne in midfield. Strong team.

Martinez on the bench. Clearly not fit for 90.
