So, back to the CL and a trip to Bratislava. A place i dont recall we've ever been to.

Can't imagine they will be a high quality team, but it is away and so we will still need to treat the game with respect and hopefully get the job done. In terms of team selection, that's anyone's guess. But I imagine we'll be pretty strong as Pep will want to secure qualification in the top 8 to avoid the play offs.

1-3 Haaland (2) Savio

Would have loved to be there for this one. Weiss still turning out for them as well. They were smashed off celtic last time out but will be up for it on their own patch. Tough game but think the Viking will find some space and get back on the goal trail

Was reading up on him last night, turns out his Dad is their manager too! Young Vlad is the 3rd generation to play for international footie, his grandad also called Vlad, how mad!

Yep I think this is one of those games they shit their bed trying to deal with Erling or make it all about him leaving pockets for the others.

I hope I'm not under estimating the oppo though.

Haaland made the trip despite concerns over scrape on his Achilles. Kevin did not. Pep talked about hoping he’d be back after the international break. He talked more optimistically about Foden form post the Newcastle match. Will he start?

No PL games for 2 weeks after fulham on Saturday so I'd expect Phil to get a full game in at weekend and maybe half / 3/4 tonight. We cannot afford to lose Foden on top of KDB being out so he should fuck england off this time around - assuming he is selected. McAtee and Nunes also travelled so let's get game time in them and try to relieve pressure on bernie and Kovacic

Wouldn't risk Erl if he has any type of issue with the Achilles.
Our back up striker can deputise.

Feel the same - I probably won’t even watch it as I have something else to do - nothing that important that couldn’t wait ,but it will be more exciting than watching a made up 11 playing against ‘San Marino ‘ that’s for sure .

Shame he never took his limited chances here, but thanks for the 20m. At this rate McAtee will be going the same way and I'm sure he'll be a roaring success back at Sheffield United.

Weiss is playing tonight is he? Shame we didn't keep him :D

Didn’t Delap play against Bournemouth, score, then we never saw him again  Typical Pep eh? Like I said the other day, the best thing to happen for Pep this season is Bobb getting injured, because he didn’t have to think of an excuse for not playing him.
