Tough game. Be very interesting to see who is going to play and what the bench will look like
It seems the International break is the return scheduled for a few of our injured players.
Will take any old scruffy win today given the circumstances. And I have a sense of foreboding that Bournemouth will get something out of the game thst I can't shake. They are long overdue a result from us and it could easily be today. They like to break quickly and as we've seen lately we are very susceptible to this
2-1 Bernardo

Think this will be a hard thought draw. We're at the ropes at the moment. We just need to soldier on until the injury crisis is over and try not to lose ground to Scouse and Arse.

Pep said that Kevin had taken a step forward in the last two or three days training. Too early for today probably but maybe he’ll be on the bench against Lisbon. Akanji and Gvardiol may well feature. No word on Dias but there doesn’t seem to be any chance that Grealish Doku or Walker will feature before the international break.

Need to learn to do without KDB and Walker, they are the past. KDB won't do much for us this year, he can't do more than 50mins when fit and his quality has diminished. I prefer to put him to one side and work on his replacements

Me too. Unfortunately Rico is decent in midfield, but still a poor second to Walker at right back

Apparently Walker is part of the travelling squad. Less than a year ago Kevin saved us at Newcastle with a goal and assist on his return from hamstring surgery. We haven’t got anyone to replace his wonderful passing. If and when we do we can talk about doing without him.

Aguero saved us against QPR. Call both Kev and Sergio and see which one is willing to start today - I guarantee it won’t be Kev.

Agreed
KDB is a sick note and we will make nothing on him when he leaves - should have fuckign sold him in the summer.

He's going in the summer. Deffo we need to be sourcing his replacement now, either someone in our current set up or purchasing someone. Preferably in January, though that is unlikely

Only Wirtz around that’s even remotely like Kev. I feel like we might go for someone like Musiala and change the way we play. We did it when Silva left, when Yaya left.

Walker Doku Savinho and De Bruyne made the trip to Bournemouth. No Grealish or Dias.

Fair old team, except Gundog is still out there. Several players who were out, aren't.
Simpson-Pusey on the bench. Impressed me the other night. But then Karim Rekik used to impress - whatever happened to him?

Walker Gvardiol Akanji start. Rico could do with a rest. Stones didn’t travel either. After all the fuss it’s a decent stating 11. Kevin and Savinho would probably start in a strongest 11. Both on the bench.

Defence about as shit as it can get.
At least Pep’s rally cry about the players faking injury has worked. Walker straight in, obviously wasn’t injured was he

Would have played Lewis in midfield instead of Gundo but why not run a 30+ year old into the ground. Makes sense.

Gundo has been our worse player on the field every time hes played this season - some of the younger players must be thinking wtf they have to do to replace him.

Rico was running on empty. He needed a rest. He may well start in Lisbon.
