View from the Away End

When I left work last night someone randomly asked me if I thought we would win today, and I said yes without thinking. I think that means I am feeling OK about the game, which is weird considering its Spuds. We are at home and we have Pep for two more years, so I think four defeats in a row is enough. I will be in my seat at 5.15pm to see a City player receive his Ballon d'Or, who would have ever have thought that. Three points please.
COME ON CITY!!!
Referee: John Brooks

And the rest…
If we’d done the bare fucking basics and won a home match against genuine farmers fodder Ipswich then we’d be potentially licking our lips at this. As it is, we know that we are enslaved by that bald twat, his protected, privileged bubble of mediocrity, and even if we won at the oily head choppers paradise we’ll fuck up soon enough at home to a team with all the potency of In The Night Garden. Honestly, it’s all very genuinely pointless. Someone please get this club out of my veins.
Let’s be honest, it’s in their hands. If they play anything like their best they’ll win easily. Our away form is dreadful. But if they have another off day, we might sneak something.
I really cannot see MC losing 5 in a row. Anything but a bad defeat will be a bonus.
I never get this blood money cheat, oil money scum etc. It’s not like our owner wasn’t a fucking sneaky, little crook. I guess he was white not Arab or Russian so it’s ok then.
Everyone in the world knows City cheat, but it's too hard to punish them apparently.
I never expected them to receive any kind of punishment mainly because of the money involved . The league tiptoes around them due to the influence they have.
City on their worst run for a decade. All falling apart. There for the taking. Our best chance of a win at their place for a few years…6-0 to City.
People are letting the cup game against their b team cloud their judgement. Where on earth people are getting their confidence from ? We just lost at home to Ipswich Town ffs…There is no way Man City are losing this, I think we are going to be on the wrong end of their wrath…5-0.
common lets be positive they may be current champions and cl winners but we are current tiger cup champions.
I think we will score 1 or 2, but City will score 3 or 4.
By the way Pep's extension makes me think it's MORE likely not less the club fears serious sanction. He'd look like an utter douch if he cut and run before the hammer. He will heroically see them till they set up for the reset.
Spurs are consistently inconsistent. With the injuries it should be an easy win for Man City. But using Spursian logic that has to mean a big win for Tottenham.
I think we are in for a right battering tomorrow. Pep new deal celebration, both our CBs injured, City players back into the team. Perfect storm. I think we are fucked. For the first time in ages I won't be watching at all.
If there's ever a time to play City, it's now. They'll come good again sooner rather than later, but hopefully not tomorrow. Have to be brave and go after them. I think we'll come away with something tomorrow.
Lads, it’s city
