I swear I don't get his position. Where is playing him?

He’s been crap for a while now. Wanted to leave for years and I think he’s pissed off that his plan of signing a new deal with a low (for him) release clause didn’t work, and no teams came in for him.

Simply stop playing him. Hes offered absolutely nothing all season and a kid would at least work harder than him.

As mentioned in the match thread, anonymous all this season and truth be told, a lot of last season

His use to us has greatly diminished and if he were to be sold in January I wouldn’t bat an eyelid.

Thanks for the good times Bernie, but your time has passed

A player who is invisible in games is always a problem. It might not be entirely his fault, we don't know what he is being asked to do by the manager, but he's way off the levels we have accustomed to.

And he isn't alone by the way

I agree. He isnt the worst and at least runs a bit unlike most the others.

We have many other problems, united-esque recruitment being close to the top.

That is utter dross. The decision to not buy players , is not the same as throwing millions away on crap players.

It is a shame that transfers aren't done with bitcoins . At least we could then follow where the money has gone.

I bet Tent peg doesn't raise his head anymore. Strange how the Rags paid a fortune for players in the Dutch league.

Nunes has been average with some good contributions thrown in. Absolutely nowhere near the £53m level we paid for him!

You think the recruitment has been good? Doku, Savinho, Nunes replacing players like Mahrez, Sterling and gundo(before we resigned him)? I love gundo but resigning him is not a good reflection on our recruitment. I think those 3 players would be lucky to get a game for brighton let alone a top team in the world. Even signing kovacic, he has just been ok but when did we start signing 29 year old players that arent even stars in mediocre prem teams? We paid best part of 100m to sign centre back Gvardiol to play him left back, why not sign an actual left back for once? Question marks on him despite his run of goals, for that money it should have been the finished product not work in progress. Hes been fine but has he been 100m worth? Is he better than laporte? Jurys out.

Haaland and Akanje our two success stories in 3 years. I wont even mention Phillips as we have let a tonne of players leave who were better than what we signed all points to bad recruitment.

AKANJI is a success because he was as cheap as chips and he seems to be fairly steady. But we could have kept Harwood Bellis for nowt or Johnny Evans for nowt. Akanji is unadventurous, can't shoot, can't pass, can he defend? He ain't the best.

I don't know why they keep giving that lump a free pass. He was at the heart of our defence, he's supposed instruct and guide the back 4. I would have forgiving him for his footballing shortcomings, but he lacks leadership. Just goes to show Rodders and Dias have been carrying him all along.

And yet even in our current predicament, Pep won't let Nunes anywhere near our midfield.

Agree, he was played out of position his entire city career.
Also, Savinho will come good, he has that special something.

I would love to be at the debriefing. 0-4 at home. That’s got to be line in the sand.
