The majority on here have said this for a while. He's not and should not be a DM, but sat alongside in the current set-up allows us to retain possession. Played well last night. Let's go again Saturday

Helped Kev out so he had to do less running because he had Gorgeous Jack next to him that would run and retain the ball.

He played really well last night, i just don't understand his reluctance to put his foot through the ball when shooting.

Probably shit scared he’ll get a bollocking if he misses. He’s said as much in an interview.

He shot mate 2nd half, it was like a pass. The Kev goal was power and in the corner and unstoppable. He also shot one just wide.
If Jack could do that he'd have everything to his game.

When he does they are instant blocks or powder puff. The block ones wind me up why cant he create that extra space like kev foden

His problem when about to shoot is he pauses on the ball which gives the defender time to dispossess him or block the shot.
he HAS to sort it out.

Because he usually has 3 players booting the fuck out of him.

I could never understand why he was put on left wing. He is clearly not a left winger, all he ever did was cut inside & pass back to defence or midfield. He had a good game for England in the old inside forward position. This is clearly his most effective position. Therefore he will be put back on left wing next game so he can be less of a danger to the opposition.

Kev's a fan
" We performed well as a team but i think Jack Grealish did EXCEPTIONAL.He's so good at controlling the tempo of the game, at holding the ball- you can't really get it off him. Sliding through players, that's his quality.
Maybe with the type of guys we have on the flanks, he's very good at that. I think we needed a bit more control, he was able to do that".
High praise.

Grealish can pass a bit, can dribble a bit and is ok at keeping the ball but he isn't a good crosser of the ball and his shooting is well below par.
Worth putting him in midfield as he has got a decent engine and has a bit of pace

Quite right too! I am hearing Macatee is off to Leeds in January, so the squad will be even smaller.

Jack had a great game in midfield yesterday. Revelled in it, the Jack of old. might be a good option.

Hes not fully fit and lacking in confidence and was brilliant so imagine how good he would be when he sorts those things out!
