Pep Out?

It think it's time for the discussion because some have openly said it and others are intimating it.

Who wants him gone?

He’s not responding to the situation in the expected manner. I want him gone……next please whomever it may be. Thanks for the fantastic few years but the first sign of trouble and you’ve come up wanting game after game.

Hate to say this he he should have done what Klopp did . Haven’t voted yet . But He knows his time is up . I am a Pep lover he’s the best thing that has ever happened to Man City and any true Man City fan can not say anything different . But all good things come to an end and the end is now . We will always Love him whatever he decides not us him what ever he decides to do .

Aside from the injury crisis, something is definitely not right mate, that's for sure.

If that was to happen as you hope, who would you go for?

No.

The man considered to be the best manager in the world needs to be allowed to prove why he is the best manager in world.

We have had a fantastic decade, with mainly Pep at the helm.

I am sure the rebuild is on.

Secondly, a lot on here were heavy on the criticism in his first season, questioning his skills and then... he revolutionised football. eleven footballers on the pitch.

His success so far allows him the right to make a transition into a new winning team.

Some on here behave like little children not getting their fekking meat pie every day.

Not yet for me. But he is on thinning ice. And I honestly think the pressure is affecting him. He looks done in.

More performances like tonight and three or four others in recent weeks and I don't think he recovers us from the spiral we're currently in

I'm sure everyone knows how I feel.

I love the man. I think he's one for the greatest things to ever happen my club.

10 years of amazement, to me, deserves one summer transfer window imo

He does. He has earned that privilege

But, playing Devils advocate

I think it's realistically going to take at least two summers to revamp the squad and if he isn't likely to be around to see it through, should we start the rebuild with a new man and fresh ideas?

Possibly. But there's nothing to say he won't stay longer, should he turn this around? Pep has had a few different types of teams. That proves he can adapt

There's also that other question - who do you want instead?

I know where your coming from he has given us City fans the best years of our lives and I will challenge any true City fan to disagree . But I mentioned it in another thread as much as I hate to say this because I despise Liverpool and their previous manager but he did the right thing in announcing he’s going and now Pep should do the same in fact I personally think he should have done it when we were on top .

Maybe if we had won the Double Double last year which would have been another unprecedented achievement, he might have actually called it day then?

Re Walker, I had a manager /owner who used to say, *I'll give him enough rope, so he can hang himself". It rather looks that way to me with Walker. I mean, he has been awful and i can understand if Pep said , goodbye to him soon , or next summer - he's gone anyway. ffs he can't even jump. both goals , he went missing.

Lewis , just doesn't cut the mustard. He makes elementary mistakes. Yes, it is nice that kids come through from the Academy but he is not the answer.

We have move the wingers into the penalty area. We have players drilled into passing around from side to side when in front of goal and it would be better to have a shot at goal.

Their first goal , damn unlucky for Ed not to claw it off the line. Their second shot at the goalie but he couldn't hold or deflect it. I mean , they weren't exactly things of pure football beauty or genius were they ? Damn lucky in all honesty.

"We played well"

PeP is either fuckign deluded or he thinks us fans are fuckign stupid when he comes out with shit statements like this.

I want him GONE but ONLY end of the season and ONLY if we do not qualify for the CL ( I said as much in a previous post and Ill stick with it no matter how many shit decisions he continues making this season) ...no CL football and he can walk or be sacked...either or.
Qualify and he gets another shot at creating a team for the 2025/26 season.
THEY SAY SWEARING IS DUE TO A LIMITED VOCABULARY. I KNOW THOUSANDS OF WORDS, BUT I STILL PREFER "FUCK OFF" TO "GO AWAY"

In the heat of a match we can call out Pep for whatever reason. But in calm and normal circumstances most will agree the current situation is not all on the manager it's a culmination of things. But with all our resources we should be in a better position than we are at present. I'd like to see Pep bow out on a high after next season or possibly one more after that. If you keep eating or drinking the same soup it becomes bland a bit of seasoning now and again helps but sometimes you need to have the salad.
