Welcome to 2025. Let's see if we can regain some sort of form to at least ensure CL football
West Ham today who will be reeling from a home drubbing at the hands of the dippers. No Bowen either which is a bonus.
Should be a game where we can get a good result but the way things have gone lately, anything can happen.
That said, I think we will secure the three points albeit in a hard fought battle
2-1 Silva Foden

Bowen out is massive. He’s your typical score on the counter player. They’ve still got plenty of pace though.
Fingers crossed

Kudus is their danger man. Scored a brilliant overhead kick against us last season in the title winning match.

This should ,on paper, be an excellent chance for us to get 3 points and hopefully build on confidence gained from the Leicester game - a game in which we got a result, kept a clean sheet but didn't play well again. Hopefully Savinho has a good game. Was great to see him get a goal
3-1 City. I'll be well depressed if we can't beat them

We were lucky at Leicester, gave them a lot of easy chances they couldn't take.
I want to see a better defensive performance today from the whole team. That requires energy.
Really it's down to team selection, if the slow lads play, we're getting done.

Loved Ed. The last few weeks have pissed me off with him. He should have been let go in the summer.

Kevin’s 400th City appearance. Give us a goal.

Shame but he's not good enough for us tbh.

Now that he's finally - at last - shown what he can do, I would've put Mase's mate in, instead of Foden
If anyone wants to leave they can. Not being selected doesn't necessarily equate to a sulk. Better to be a sub at City than playing at Southampton
(Well just, still!)
