Went straight to Txiki and missed Pep out according to Pep himself.

Is Walker the new Cancelo? His removal sees an upturn in fortunes?

Saw a stat that we’ve not won a game in our last 8 matches that Walker has started - not sure if that’s true.

Pep didn’t blurt it out. Someone asked why he wasn’t in the squad and he felt obliged to tell the truth . Didn’t want someone in the squad ( potentially starting) whose mind was elsewhere. .May well have played his last match for the Club. Surely can’t stay as Club Captain. Dias has always been the right choice.

We better have someone lined up and i hope its in addition to the kids we are about to sign who are needed anyway. We cant just have a combo of lewis and akanje for the rest of the season. Unless he sees nunes as the answer there god i hope not.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We’ve just let the lad that was on loan at Luton go on loan to another club. Would we have done that had Pep known Walker was off? Can we recall Couto? He’s barely playing for Dortmund, surely any RB option is better than none?

The Telegraph reporting AC Milan are keen on signing him. Only the Saudis will take on all his wages I would have thought. We might let him go on a free or at any rate for a small fee. It’s the wages which would be the problem.

Is couto only on loan? I thought he had gone permanently. Kabore is shite, i think id rather Nunes there than him. Be nice to get some prem experience, Ola Aina out of contract in summer at forest he would be a nice cheap option to see us through.

Borussia Dortmund

On 10 October 2024, Couto’s €30 million release clause was triggered by Borussia Dortmund.[12]

Thank fuck for that is all I can say. Thanks for your contribution but not before time. In terms of our best RB, Zabba has you well beaten on and off the pitch. You only had him for pace.
In terms of England's best RB
Armfield
COHEN
Newton
STEVENS
Anderson
Palmer
NEVILLE
Carragher
All were better.
My favourite of all time after Zabba was Tommy Smith. He was too much of a hard man for Ramsey to pick for England but he was a great footballer. Saw him live a few times for Liverpool, Walker would have shit himself in his presence.

Carragher wasn’t better than Richard Edghill!

And Smith, great at threatening players, like keane , but an average defender.

Anyone know where he lives? I would love to help him pack his bags and drive him to the airport.
