Ed, similar to Aguero and Tevez, only speaks English when he wants. They all understood English perfectly - they just didn’t want to do any interviews and speak to the noncy media. Can’t blame them.

This guy will learn that quick.

Welcome to the 'Almighty' which is what his first name means apparently. Just read a piece on him on bbc written by a mate of my son whose a big blue so we now have at least one cheerleader on ordsall quays

Apparently he speaks Russian as well as Uzbek and was taking classes in French. Presumably he will now take classes in English. Im sure he will be able to follow simple instructions in training very quickly. Its important, though, that he doesn’t feel isolated so he needs to pick up some english asap. Im sure he will. I think I read he was accompanied by his two agents so hes not completely on his own. The Club will bend over backwards to help him settle in.
