Early KO. Shite for travelling fans, but when was that ever a consideration.
Most realistic chance of a trophy this year IMO. I hope we don't have too much focus on the upcoming Madrid game. Let's go strong and put it too bed early like against Salford. Can then rest and rotate.
3-0 Marmoush Kovacic Gvardiol

Can see Nico getting a start and looking forward to seeing him play.Be great to have some minutes in Ake and Dias with Tuesday in mind. Looks like we are starting to have decent options within the squad - fullbacks aside

Which Nico mate? I want to see O’Reilly given a shot again, was good against Salford.

Ah yes, confusing. I meant the galician but put them borh in and take a look at both with McAtee

Would like to see them play together too if that's the pairing for the future. May get a half each today though to get game time in for Dias.

Dilemma of how many youngsters and untried pairings to play while keeping a few on the bench in case of need. Dias Ake Ederson Doku all trained.

True. Can’t just have a team of kids. Gundo, Jack, etc should be starting this as well

And Pep might decide to give one or two of those who came back to training some minutes to sharpen up before Tuesday eg Dias who could be really important against Madrid. Maybe Doku too.

I understand Ruben needs game time for Madrid, but piss poor man management with Khusanov.

How's that? Hopefully, we get to see him with Dias second half. Gives both the newbies a half each I'm good with that

Really feel for Khusanov. His confidence must be on its arse. He shouldn’t have been thrown in against Chelsea and then not used again. Pep’s man-management is easily his worst skill

I imagine these will kick the fuck out of us, so hopefully Nico G gets used to it pretty quickly

Be interesting to find someone, anyone, who can bring McAtee into general play

I don’t think it would have been sensible to play Khusanov and Reis together and Dias could do with some minutes. Nothing wrong there.
