He’s only 19 mate. Still got a couple of years to develop. If we’re on top in games then I don’t see a problem with him being at LB. But I can’t see him developing there - hopefully I’m proven wrong.

Chelsea made a bit but I can see how he gets in their midfield at all

If he stays and Pep will use him on the left, he will never make it and will get the stick Rico gets.
I think he is quality and he will never reach his potential here.

Don't disagree but it is down to the individual. Are they happy to be bit-part players at the end of a PL Game and league cup and early fa cup rounds? Pep has shown he has no faith in the main so only the real talent will remain the rest will make a good living from football and we will drop the odd bollock when some kick on - ultimately, we cannit keep them all. On point, I like O'Reilly but he is now behind Gonzalez already

I think it's down to the individual to show they deserve to be more than bit part players.
Lots got their chance in the Community Shield against the rags. Bobb was MOTM, O' Reilly had a shocker. Pretty sure Bobb was nailed on to play a big part this season until the injury.

Well, he is an attacking mid, so he should play where Gundo, Kevin etc are playing. I also had the impression he was a dmc, but apparently not.

but hasn't the full back position been used for quite a long time to blood young players? could be wrong but pretty sure swp had a number of games at right back under keegan..?

Right wing back in a 3-5-2 Dunnie also played RWB that season as well, along with Laurent Charvet.

A very high percentage of youth players move further back when they get into senior football. It’s the nature of the beast. Based on the very little I’ve seen I’d think he could replace what the FB’s offer in terms of attacking threat a lot more than I would Foden or Kdb personally.

Don’t see him making it as an attacker with us, but further back maybe.

What a time! Life was great then, simpler times.

My favourite time supporting City. You knew we’d likely win 4 nil or get smashed
