Luckily we're playing at The Vitality.
Looks like Gvardiol is injured but they've got 2 of their best players suspended. O Reilly at left back it is then. We're going through

Comes to something when we are calling out 2 of Bournemouth's players missing as a bonus but that's where we are. We need legs in the middle so that will be Gundo starting. Not at all confident, think we're out come sunday night

It is a bonus just like it's a bonus to our opponents that we've been missing Rodri all season.
Bournemouth have lost the last 3 at home in the league and only beat Wolves at home last round on pens.
I think we're going through, let's see who's right

Our only chance of silverware (other than the world cup in the summer) - if the players aren't fully determined and focused on this one then the problems are more deep rooted than I thought.

Bournemouth are in terrible form and are 4th from bottom on current form over the last 6 matches - they’ve taken 4 points from a possible 18.
We’re just above them - but we should be beating these.

Thing is all of the sides left in the cup fancy their chances, particularly when our form is what it is, ie shit.
Its going to be a struggle there.

Not an easy game at all. Bournemouth are a fit physical side, although i thought they were lucky to progress in the last round. They also have a few players adept in the dark arts. We will have to be a step up from our past performances. Hoping that Echeverri can get a game at some point

Pep didn’t mention any injury problems post international break apart from the obvious Rodri Ake Akanji and Stones. Ederson is back in training but he said that some players returned later than others and so less fresh.
He was asked about player bonuses for doing well in the Club World Cup and said neither the coaches ( including himself) nor the players deserved any bonuses this year.
He said they would be very cautious bringing back Rodri. Didn’t want any risk of a bad setback.
I guess we’ll play pretty much the strongest team possible on Sunday with the possible exception of Ortega.

Sorry, ortega should be bench warming after last weeks shocker. Ed is way better and this is our only chance of silver this season. Full steam ahead, Mr Boatswain, full steam ahead

100%
We can have the best outfield team but if the goalie is substandard then problems can arise. Ortega is not good enough to be selected as first choice. He arguably isn’t good enough to be a back up but he’s all we have at the moment. Ederson has to play. Anything else is a dereliction of duty from Pep
