Back to the PL after the cup win on Sunday. Leicester are utter dogshit. One of the worst sides the PL has seen in recent years, if not all time. RVN was a quite astonishingly poor appointment and they are without question going to be relegated and probably quite soon.
Therefore nothing less than a comfortable victory will suffice tonight. The City vintage of 2019 would put at least 7/8 past these, if not the magical 10. And I'd hope the current side will get 4/5.
No Haaland, quite likely until the world club championship, so Marmoush will be chomping at the bit to fill his boots. And it's a great opportunity for a few under performing players to get back into it.
5-1 Marmoush (3) Foden Gundogan

'Kin hell Notts, whilst Leicester are undoubtedly shite, we're not tearing up any trees. Be interesting to see what bright ideas Pep has for our defence as I doubt that he will play O’Reilly at lb. Grealish has to get game time instead of Phil in the middle. This is not going to be a good watch at all

We were very good 2nd half Sunday against a good team who loads predicted we'd go out to. We scored 6 at a shite Ipswich, i predict same again

I’d like to see a team that has Grealish and O’Reilly in it.

Knowing Pep, I'd be very surprised if O'Reilly started. Giving a chance to youth and rewarding good performances aren't traits usually associated with Pep.
Hope I'm horribly wrong. O'Reilly definitely deserves his chance and not as a makeshift LB either. Let's see what he's made of as what we have seen in snippets previously has been promising

Chris Sutton has us down to win 5-0. I'd be happy with any win but more importantly play well and look like a team

The sensible defence would be
RB Khusanov
CB Dias
CB Gvardiol
LB O'Reilly
BUT...........

Khusanov obviously injured in that foul the other day.
Decent team though, RB aside

Khusanov not in the squad. O’Reilly starts at LB. Grealish also starts. Foden on the bench.

Grealish, yes…at last. Definite City win 4-0, don’t car who scores.
