In Dubs poll in Decemember I voted Pep to stay, but now I've had enough. I'll am eternally grateful for the football he's given us, the records, treble and all the silverware but, time for a change.
It won't allow us to change out vote in Dubs original thread.
Am interested to see the change on people's votes only 4 months later.

I’ve changed to out. I honestly don’t think he has the squad going balls out for him. And his stubbornness is now hindering us

I’ve also changed. His decisions recently make me think he’s lost the plot. Plays players based on what they did 2 years ago, not what they’re doing now. His treatment of some players is baffling.

I voted out originally. Of course there has been unprecedented success with him, but his management this season has been inexplicable. If they’re just treading water and thereby risking failing to get to the CL with this passionless, dreary football…..it’s just not good enough, it’s downright embarrassing, there was nothing today, nothing !!
Goodbye and thanks for the memories.

i was out before and it was a 50/50 anyone can have a dip but we have not improved at all, our new signings he seems to play out of position or in formations that are not applicable. Thought we had a good January window but he seems to have doubled down, I'm sick of our full back issues our tippy tappy football and a slow attack. Echeverri, Gonzales, Reis are all capable players but they aren't given a chance it seems. Savinho and Doku started well but have withered on the vine.
Grealish is hamstrung on the touchline . when he is freed up and plays well he gets dropped. Things haven't improved . Pep needs to go as he looks incapable of finding a plan B style of football. KISS keep it simple stupid

Still no from me. One poor season (5th currently and FA cup semi final) doesn’t warrant change in my view. Pep deserves next season to put things right after the coming summer transfer window.

At the moment I am a no. I understand that some are very frustrated and very annoyed at what we've seen this season.
Pep has not had a good season at all. But he will not be sacked he will get the summer and next season to put things right. I think he deserves that chance.
BUT if we start next season badly then the pressure will come on in a big way, and he could be gone before the end of this year.

After Saying Nunes was one of the best in the World.
Pep now says he is too stupid to be a midfielder.
"""Pep Guardiola on Matheus Nunes: "He can become a good right-back for the physicality. I think he's not a player to play in the middle because he's not clever enough, in composure.
"He has incredible skills and he's learning a lot; full-backs always have a big mistake when a cross to the far-post where you are, always they're sleeping. And he defended really well two or three crosses from Bruno Fernandes, [Patrick] Dorgu. He has physicality to do it, he can play that position and he's helped a lot.
"When we started the season and I tell we're going to play Matheus at right-back, Nico [O'Reilly] left-back, you'd tell me, 'What are you talking about?!' But this is what it is, Manu Akanji coming back, two young central defenders, but the last two, three games, the back-four was excellent..."""

100% this. Most team's fans would be happy with where we are - we've become spoilt/entitled, all that I hated about the rags. We'll reset next season and kick on with the younger players we have. However, if the season starts as a repeat of the last 6 months, then a change may be due.

I wonder how he would like a player to say how once upon a time PeP was a great manager but now hes shit at it..but he would probably be good as a number 2 ?
This manager is on fucking drugs with the shit he comes out with and if we keep him next season he will dish up the same shit again.

If he dishes up the "shit" he's dished up in the last 10 years (rather than the last 6 months) I'll be ecstatic...

You need to focus on what hes dishing up this season and not what happened previously when we had world class players that died for the shirt.....who out there today would die for the shirt ? what evidence have we seen that PeP will get us playing exciting football again ? what evidence have we seen that tells us PeP will stop picking shit performing players like Bernardo and Gundo , to name but 2 , week in and week out ?
PeP "Nunes can blossom at right back"

Can someone , anyone , show me evidence that this will be the case ?
Show me the evidence and Ill try and be positive but if all you are going to throw back is yesteryear's success then I'm afraid you are not going to convince me.

Carl, even when we were winning everything, you were always slagging Pep off. I honestly believe you're loving this bad period, as it justifies your anti-Pep stance. I went to my first City match in 1972, been a season ticket holder for donkey's years, despite living in the North East of England, and have NEVER before seen us play such fantastic football. Every successful team eventually goes through a bad run, which is what has happened to us. Sacking the best manager in our 142 year history seems like a pretty drastic measure to take. Unless, of course, a person has never been happy with him?

Pep Apologist here.
I'll definitely say Pep In as the yester8months is more than compensated by the best yester8years I could ever have dreamed of and when you think this nightmare 8 months has us on for CL qualification and FACUP Winners i think there’s a lot who'd love to swap

Let’s put this to bed shall we - I have already stated many times that I never liked pep since he started the slagging off in the first place - as in slagging us fans off that booed the CL anthem - since then I’ve never liked him.
Do I hate him ? Absolutely not and did I ever want him sacked prior to this season ? Absolutely not ! and I have many posts giving him credit for what he’s done and achieved over the years , how could a fan not ?
There are some anal fans on here who insist I hate him and wanted him gone season after season , total BS - I said if he doesn’t give us CL for next season then 100% he should go - between me saying that and what we have seen being dished up week in week it’s pretty hard to stick with that - but I reluctantly will try to !
Unlike some of you lot I will not brush under the carpet his fuck ups and there have been many - if you want to ignore the numerous fuckups and just focus on the good bits ! then good for you , I don’t and I haven’t .
Look at today ! Shit line up with his favorites playing - it’s Deja vu every fucking week now and our football is barely watchable -
There has been zero evidence that pep will change his way for next season - he buys players and then either drops them or plays them anywhere but their natural position ffs !!!
This killed me today “Nunes will blossom in the RB position “ !!!! What the absolute fuck is he seeing that no one else sees ?
Sorry - the guys lost it and there are plenty of fans who think the same .

Crazy shit. No no and no. We’ve turned into the rags with expectant shite. We’ve had a bad luck run with injuries, players at the end of their careers and some bad luck results on top of that. I agree Peps management was poor today, sure. But I guarantee you this, there’s not a club in the world who wouldn’t swap him for their manager today. And do we think we’d get instead that could possibly be better?

The reasons are two fold
1) the players look like they give zero shits. When we were shit we saw running/ less boring play.
2) peps "brain farts" are now weekly with his favourites who are passed it

No from me too, one bad season albeit still in FA cup fighting for chumps league place, a rebuild is happening and it'll take time, see who we offload in the summer and who comes in.
You don't always get what you wish for look at the demise of the scumbags as an example.
I'm pissed off with the form at present but give the guy a chance to get the players to bed in and if it's still the same in October then move him on, I think he would go himself TBH.
