Matata had a good goal ruled out. Defender caught out for pace. EZE just stuffed it into the net great goal

2 great goals from Palace. Villa have been outplayed so far. Well deserved lead. Wonder what the mystery injury is for Rashford? Manager quite coy. Probabably Ollie Watkins asserting himself

We were in a mess and he couldn't handle the pressure. Lasted 33 days.
Balotelli......that's a brilliant finish.

Great game end to end. Puts tippy tappy possession in the shade. Not the most cultured football but certainly a great watch

All sorts of rumours flying about at the time

Was he about to be outed as gay? Or have I got that very wrong?

That's the whole point. If both played this way against us, they would have 11 in their own box and time waste. as we have seen recently playing both of them.

But he went on to do a good managerial job at other clubs. Always thought there were whispers of a scandal of sorts

I don't know. Medical grounds were quoted. I was more concerned about the club though than a permanent incumbent who was outlasted by caretaker managers.
