Bar Haaland - who is blue and had a buyout - we've never beat off competitive and signed a big signing. I dont think this will change with wirtz. But as with bellingham etc etc we seem to let them fuck us about all year and end up with 297th choice.

Confirmed by Liverpool the story about them meeting him was made up.

He is a smashing player and just what we need. Would he bother coming here just as a ruse to get Bayern to stump up the cash. Why bother travelling? He might have a genuine interest in city.

As with all big named transfers, its best not bothering with the clickbait headlines until it happens. I doubt he will join a dysfunctional club such as ours. This season and Pep's issues haven't done us any favours at all. He can also see how we've been treating our new signings , again not good. Doubt he'll come to City and to be frank i can't be arsed. I really wanted to see Echeverri and co bloodied before the end of the season, at least showing an effort to change things. Sadly disappointed. I'd be surprised if anyone decent wants to come

How are we a dysfunctional club.
4 in a row prior to this season and in this shit season we're in the top 4 and Cup Final.
The only reason he wouldn't come is if he wants to stay in Germany with Bayern- Haaland's signed a massive extension this season, Kev was desperate to stay.
This new signing scenario is no different to how it's always been with Pep. Very few are regulars first season. Khusanov and Reis both are for the future, Marmoush has done really well. The only one we've not seen is Echeverri and we don't see what's happening in training on a day to day basis.
I'd be surprised if anyone decent didn't want to come.
