Done deal according to Romano so here is his thread.

Good transfer, imho. Scored a shitload of goals last season for his position.
Let's see.

Sadly I know nothing about foreign leagues these days (or happily), so if he moves the ball forward, it's a win!

Are you sitting down? He loves to shoot from distance and blasted a few in the net.

Not seen a minute of this guy but someone who wins Serie A midfielder of the year in an average at best side is clearly handy.

Wonder if Walker played a part? Recommendation etc?

Looking forward to seeing him in action

Tick, tick and tick. Love the absolute nonsense that the great unwashed are throwing at us again. City are back

Yet another uninspiring signing. We need world class players or at least young ones with bags with potential.
Anyway, is he any good at passing sideways?

Who would you like us to get who is available?

I think football is lacking the pack talent we had 15-20 years ago. The fees went up, but the talent went down, real class talent. You see Bellingham, but would he be a part of the rags under Taggart, Chelsea under Maureen or Arse at the start of the 00s?
I think at the moment the key Is getting the right players and train them to have the hunger and desire.
Look at Raphina. He was out the door last year by this time, now he is one of the leading names for the Ballon D'or.

Reijnders and Cherki and maybe one more in the middle can bring us back to our best.

Don't worry Pep will coach that out of him. He won't be allowed to shoot from distance.

He won't have a choice with the amount of midfielders we have on the books now, admittedly, we should expect to see some moving in the next window. Be nice to actually address this with a proper rb rather than putting a mf there - we live in hope. All gone quiet on the italian kid from Juve front which is a ahame

It's simple, sell Nunes and get one. We dont really need him now. He might be OK if we are challenging for top 4, but we all know we want that top spot. I hope the genius stops dicking about trying to look genius and gets this position sorted.

Has he been signed in enough time for the CWC? Transfer deadline was 7pm last night but it wasn't announced until this morning

Looks like we have ourselves a new midfield

As Sparty said in the other thread, we've acted quuckly to address issues from previous summer window, following on fro jan window. That says to me that we will address the rb issue next. It may be that we are looking to trade players or simply that we look to move on the ones that don't fit. With the additions of the 2 mf this window, I'd imagine that will be at least Phillips gone plus Nunes though not sure on his contract. McAtee I can see going along with potential loan move for O’Reilly if we are keeping Echi?. Gundo will stay and play less, Bernie I'd say was up to him, we won't stand in his way should he want to stay. Walker will be gone next so the rb place needs to be sorted

Says he is available for CWC on OS - good news from a team bonding perspective for all the newbies
