Pep confirmed he wil be out until after the September international break after he got injured during the Club WC.

So it seems we rushed him.
We really are trying our best to look like amateurs.

He wasn't rushed, quite the opposite.

Agree. I'm sure he could have played earlier than he did. Coming back from a long teem injury, you never know how the body will react. Looking forward to seeing rudilph in there alongside him but he will have to manage on his own til then

I think he was. He had no business playing near the end of last season, even as little as he did.
It was full of reports of him recuperating faster than he should and mostly from City-friendly media.

I was afraid this would happen, and I am concerned that he will be in and out this season, and we will again experiment in the middle.

The reports are of an "injury setback", not a recurrence of his ACL injury. He's been training with the squad this week, and according to Pep 1, he won't be "really fit" until after the international break, not that he's out until after it...

That's me looking on the positive side of things :D

Think it's his groin this time. Not surprising, he's done fuck all for 12 months so he'll have niggles.

Exactly, the beeb article with Pep's quotes backs this up. He's not out until after the September break, just not expected to be fully fit until then. We'll still need to manage him though but with Nico G and rudolph we should be able to rotate

Groin strain due to inactivity. Didn't have to play at all until the season opening friendlies. Came back too soon. Takes time to get match fit , A fuck up from a panicking manager .

Not off to a good start are we?.

So he came back too soon- activity.
But groin strain due to inactivity.
Right

Seen it time and again. Body has one weakness, puts pressure on the next bit. And so on.....

I am all about fidelity and showing support, but if he will be in and out this season and not his usual self, and Madrid would come with a decent fee next summer, would you sell?

Similar with when the saudies were asking about kevin

Pep has a record of over stating injuries. But I think its more he doesn't want rodri to go play with Spain.

Right

Listen cunt, you've obviously never played sport and got an injury coming back too soon after a long lay off. Your pithy little comment shows what an ignorant dickhead you are , and why Carl has issues with you. The subject matter is Rodri's injury. If it bores you, fuck off elsewhere. It was the wrong decision to bring him back.

and yet some on here don't understand it.
Been there and done it. Medical advances aside, mentally he'll be a bit scared of challenges, turning quickly, awkward landings . Got the smell of Colin Bell about it. His comeback needs to be carefully managed and we haven't got off to a good start

We have touched a nerve haven't we. I take it your speed in replying is how quick your brain works. You're the one who said he came back too soon but got injured due to inactivity. Try and understand the contradiction. Now as I've told your hero Carl constantly I'll fuck off when i want to, not when dickheads like you tell me to.

Stupot’s still fucking worshipping at the altar of Saint Pep - rewriting last season like it was genius ( best team in the league post January ? ) — in reality, for most of us , it was 9 months of fucking tedium dressed up as tactics.

" Worshipping at the altar of Saint Pep". Love it.
It's only right really after 6 PL titles in the last 8 years with a 2nd and 3rd.
That's reality by the way.
