Champions League is no longer worth it. Only a money making thing

5 PL teams in it , what is the point of it all. Except money.

Sorry to see him go. Thought he was one of our best keepers. Keepers his age should be in their prime. He has loads of years in him. Another unhappy player leaving.
Quite happy with Trafford . Would rather have a proper right back that Donna Summer

All the best Eddie.

Is a strange one,

I can only think he believed he should be first choice Keeper and would not play second fiddle to Trafford.

Obviously Ortega must be happy in that role.

Another unhappy pissed off player it seems.

Got to be said Ederson was the one who began it all, The Club decided to act only because of him.

Not the case, club wants ed as number 1 IMO

Ed has wanted out since last summer - for whatever reasons (and the work on a deal is the reason hes not played, official line for the first 2 games was that hes not available, as per savinho).

Trafford was due to number 2 this year with an assessment on if he can takeover from Ed in thr summer when his contract ends.

Ed going, made us nervous on Traff being number 1 NOW and Donna is available..

I love Ed. Incredible goalkeeper and cant see anyone ousting him as my favorite but this was a terrible move that he will regret for a long time.

Shit league, shit team. Waste of his talent.
derby day the scores were level,
then the goat was fed by neville,
silly boy should know for sure,
feed the goat and he will score!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Changed the way we played, magnificently so. Saved us twice in Istanbul. I was never a boo boy, I loved him. Good luck Eddie and thank you for everything.

City "fans"

Wasn't it proven it was accounts in Africa and Asia.

Does Ederson think that social media only exists in Manchester? The Turkish fans won't just give him stick online, it'll be to his face.

This is a guy that grew up in the roughest areas of Brazil, a few words online haven't hurt him - he's been wanting to leave for two summers, that's the truth

Echo this. He was the first piece in the jigsaw. Never rated him as a shot-stopper but his distribution remains the benchmark. Thanks Ed and good luck over there you're going to need it

18 trophies Ed won with us. Like many we have seen leave since the treble. We will do well to get anywhere near that level ever again. I’m not saying keeping them was an option it wasn’t. The keeper situation I’m scratching my head as I’m sure Trafford is. No RB. Centre half’s who we will be lucky to get 25 games from. I called it early in the summer. We are in a mess.

+2
It's the right time for a change for me. His form has declined over the last 18 months or so. His confidence on the ball and ability to play out from the back has been a massive part of our success and for that alone will always be seen as a legend.

My only disappointment really and it is very minor, is he never scored a goal for us!!!
