That's what I thought Bmoon, agree to this as part of the bigger picture.
Makes me question have they got something concrete on us within the 115? Or to lessen the blow to the FA when we get not guilty of cheating?
Don't know if this is a good or bad thing.

I think if they had something serious in the 115 we would have fought this to the end, especially as the independent tribunal found aspects "illegal". Perhaps it's part of a deal to mitigate some of the lesser charges (failure to cooperate springs to mind) - time will tell, I suppose. Fed up waiting, to be honest...
114?

Manchester City and the Premier League have reached a settlement in their dispute over the rules that govern commercial deals.
"Neither the Premier League nor the club will be making any further comment about the matter"

According to The Times we've got a huge, £1b+, sponsorship deal lined up with Etihad and it will enable that to pass through smoothly.

Do you think that both parties now know the result of the 115 charges and just sorting best way out for all?

Curious to see if we splash any cash in Jan now. Surely we go balls out for a RB if handbrake is off.

It's a deal. It'll benefit both parties.

Yeah,I don’t get it either. If we were right, and legally it seemed we were, why would we back down and cut a deal with the FA who are trying to kill us with this 115 shit? Even if we get to do our 1B sponsorship, why let them off the hook? I sincerely doubt there would be any form of horse trading in terms of the 115 charges, highly unlikely that could happen. So either the ATP case was not a slam dunk and we’ve agreed to just let it go (which is odd to say the least), or we got something out of it. The press release wording makes it seem like we gave in with nothing in return…

We're getting our sponsorship deal through that we wanted to.
If we kept pushing all we are doing is fighting Newcastle, Villa etc battle for them. Fuck them. If they haven't got the balls to do it them selves why should we carry in.
Remember the amended rules got voted back through so plenty of the clubs whose fans are complaining about the rules still bent over for the cartel. If they're not happy let them challenge them themselves in future

Sounds the likely scenario TBH, although both parties swear they know nothing.

Nothings agreed on our new sponsorship deal. I doubt we'll get fucked over but i'll wait and see.
The 115 charges will be a nominal fine for non cooperation.
I would think City would know what is going to happen and thats why they've held off bankrupting the PL over APT rules.
Some horse trading was always inevitable. We as fans would have loved the PL to be publicly beaten and fucked over but those things never happen
We will still be the club that cheated but had the best legal team.
