Saturday afternoon 3pm KO for a change.
Got a great record against Burnley of late and today should continue that trend. No Khusanov apparently but Stones presumably is fit enough again to play. Or most likely Nunes with Stones partnering Dias and Gvardiol replacing O'Reilly. Why make one change at the back when three will do.
Midfield and attack will be largely the same as Arsenal I'd guess. But of course Pep likes a curveball....
3-0 Haaland Foden Savinho

Penalty on the cards early doors when Walker brings down Doku.

I'd have us target their left flank and have the viking and Doku stick at the back post for when Walker switches off. Interested to see how we play this one. More of the quick balls required today

No, nothing to do with who my FPL captain is.

Good to see Bernardo having a rest
Glad to see Gvardiol staying at CB. He's better there and I think O'Reilly is becoming a better option at LB

Probably just given the week off. It is Burnley at home after all. We’ve won 17 of the last 18 fixtures against these. So it’s a decent assumption we have enough in the tank without him. If you can’t beat Burnley at home then the season is a struggle anyways
Nice to see Kovacic on the bench as well

Indeed. Was worried he’d make wholesale changes in the defence

Every time I see Savinho on the team sheet my heart sinks. I just don’t rate him, Bobb who has more ability in his big toe than Sav must be really pissed off by now. Hey ho. Come on City !!!

To be fair Bobb had all the opportunity in the world the other night, had the ball countless times and did fuck all. Whereas Savinho did surprise us all and score!
Time Bobb started delivering on his promise

Yes true, when he’s had as many games as Sav I’m sure we’ll see it. I thought he was ok on Weds without being brilliant. Save is never brilliant. I have one leg and could score in this team.

Correct. Personally I don’t think he’s been right since his injury. Both physically and mentally. A shame as it looked like he could have been a great player for us. He of course still might be, but with every passing game that possibility gradually recedes as he turns in average performances
And I also doubt Savinho will turn out that good for us either

Bench looks weak in terms of attacking players
