Has more poor games than good
Misses more than he should
Doesnt know how to score from a corner or where to stand
Never booked, very soft, a defenders dream
Keep or sell for big money?
I'd rather have had Troy Deeney or Vardy at their peak
They probably have score slightly less but we would have recorded more wins

He's saving himself for the world cup. We know this. It's obvious

The one thing we have to work on is corners ffs
Someone said in the match thread Haaland should be running in from the top of the box and we should be able to find him any foul on him when moving
= Pen leaving him in the six yard box having to wrestle is just a waste of time , We saw today again how they manipulated the foul on him saying the ball wasn’t in play when he was fouled bolX . They need to show that again - I won’t hold my breath

Absolutely agreed regarding him being left in goal mouth and literally getting arse raped week in week out. I remember when we used to have four or five players in a line with centre spot and as the corner came players clustered, fairly sure that was quite successful unless my memory fails?,

I think he, as us, is done with these fucking tactics.
I am sure he will play differently under a new manager.

We heard the latest justification on the wrestling yesterday. So, if that's the case, we should be telling him to stand on the edge of the box and move when the ball is in play takes away all the grey area. No point in standing in the 6 yard box to be pulled and pushed about it serves us no purpose other than as a distraction and since Josko is out, we have no-one else who is going to score with a header

He thinks he is untouchable. Thanks to that ridiculous contract.

Untouchable in what respect?

I said that. I just don't get why he can time a run in on a ball floated into the box, avoid the tussling and leap at speed using his momentum . Seems obvious to me. It was how i played football. No one can jump higher from a standing position

People seem to expect him to do it all on his own, the service he gets from the rest of the team is crap and this team knows it. I'm surprised he scores as many as he does with this teams inability to cross the ball or take opportunist shots from outside the box.
Giving him the ball on the halfway line and expecting him to do the rest isn't good service.

I think we forget sometimes when arguing about his contract etc, Haaland is blue through and through - from being a kid
Nobody wakes up in the morning and goes into work intending to do a shit job, but same as in any other walk of life, the entire supply chain needs to work in order to achieve an end result.
From a very simple perspective, he absolutely should be more involved in games, even if its coming short and tapping the ball back to get involved - but I'd wager Pep has his eye on the 2 men that Haaland occupies, which if he maintains the high line is exactly what gives us the space to play in the gap.
Same issue with Grealish - the outsider thinks he added no value because he didn't score loads or take on 5 players, but he occupied 2 players consistently which was enough to create space elsewhere.
The issue is that the resultant space ISN'T being exploited by those tasked with that job, but I guess our frustration is in our simple assumption that when the opposition drop deep to stop that gap opening up, there should be no reason not to vary play and give the oppo something to think about by walloping some long balls and crosses in there.
I don't know what the answer is, but I honestly don't think it's to blame Haaland

Some good points, but he doesn't move much and he is not converting the chances he gets as well as he did. His return rate is getting worse

I believe his return rate is a direct consequence of the players around him He used to have KDB an on fire Phil now ? Cherki partnership will blossom and his return will rocket

In that he thinks his place is guaranteed.

It not inconceivable it’s in his contract

That assist from Doku for Haaland against Galatasaray is exactly what we should be striving to do multiple times per game. Everything in our set up should be to seek that situation OR out swinging crosses.
Haaland is a shark who’s currently being fed carrots. I don’t really blame him for getting negative and throwing his arms around. To be honest if I were him I’d think fuck you Pep and just start dropping back to get the ball and pass it to the winger for a 1-2

He was on the bench for the Wolves game.
